- 1980The company factory building was founded by Baishou Pharmaceutical Company.
- 1981Constructed the first-stage factory building.
- 1982The first-stage factory building was completed and operation commenced.
- 1983The Japanese pharmaceutical expert. Dr. Hasegawa, was appointed plant superintendent responsible for product R&D.
- 1984Appointed experts and scholars in various disciplines, such as medical science, pharmaceutical science, bio-medical science, etc., to fully participate in product R&D.
Expanded construction for the second-stage G.M.P. factory building in response to the initiation of governmental G.M.P. system. - 1985The second-stage construction of the G.M.P. plant was completed.
Formally set up KO DA Pharmaceutical Company to produce concentrated Chinese herbal medicine. - 1986The herbal extract products, after being tested clinically, were shown to have reached commercialization stage.
- 1987Passing the G.M.P. software inspection by Department of Health, Taiwan, R.O.C., and scientific Chinese herbal medicine formally entered the market.
- 1988Obtained the approval from the government as a G.M.P. pharmaceutical manufacturer.
- 1992Expanded the third-stage construction; the building for storage and warehouse was completed; the integration of factory and office was carried out; marketing units and shipping warehouse were relocated back to the factory from the city district.
- 1997To abide government policy of maintaining business root in Taiwan, KO DA expanded the fourth-stage construction for the Bio-technology building.
- 1998Foods Department was formally set up and health foods formally entered the market.
- 1999The Bio-technology building was completed; Cosmetics Business Department and new R&D Center were formally established, which made the company, domestically the first one in combining traditional Chinese medicine extract, health foods and cosmetics into one business.
- 2000In pursuit of continuously developing and strengthening the company’s operation system, commenced on ISO9001：2000 certification.
- 2007According to the faith of “Safety Medication”. KO DA introduced the “Electronic Barcode Check System” into market, and obtained the patents of Taiwan, Australia, Germany and Japan.
