FunctionsFor spasmodic epigastric pain due to cold from deficiency of the spleen and stomach with Qi stagnation and blood stasis, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting or spitting up of sour liquids, a feeling of fullness and distention in the chest and abdomen, and sharp pains./ Warms and strengthens the middle burner and stops pains.
